Where is Tennessee Tiny Homes located?

Are you open to the public? Can I come tour your tiny house work site?
We are not open to the public daily, however we have open house tours every couple of months. You can see upcoming open house dates on our calendar.

What are your office hours?
We work from home so we don’t have “real” office hours, but we are generally available Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm CST, and a few hours on Saturday. On occasion we will take a full weekend off (Saturday and Sunday).

How much does a Tennessee Tiny Home cost?

How are Tennessee Tiny Homes constructed?
Each model is built on a custom trailer, built specifically for the home. Framing is glued and screwed, not nailed, for added strength.

What does “Complete Tennessee Tiny Home” mean?
The Complete Tennessee Tiny Home base price includes the following: Custom Trailer | Exterior Complete with Choice of Siding | Metal Roof | Laminate Flooring | White Interior | Queen Size Loft with Ladder | Kitchen Cabinets and Laminate Countertops | 3.1 cu. ft. Refrigerator | 15″x 15″ Bar Sink | Portable Electric 2 Burner Stove | Portable Infrared Heater | 32″ x 32″ Fiberglass Shower Stall | Composting Toilet | On-Demand Tankless Water Heater | Storage Shed. Many upgrade options available.

How long does it take you to build a Tennessee Tiny Home?
From start to finish, it takes approximately 1-2 months, depending on the amount of customizations and size. We are currently booked out 4 months.

Where can I park my Tennessee Tiny Home?
You will need to check with your local government on this. We stick to what we know, and that’s building tiny homes! 🙂

What size vehicle will I need to tow my Tennessee Tiny Home? How much does it weigh?
We recommend an SUV or truck with at least a V8 engine. For larger, you will need a 2500 or larger. They range anywhere from approximately 3,000 to 10,000+ lbs.

How much say do I have in the layout? Do you work with custom orders?
Yes, definitely! The majority of our builds are custom. You can pick from any of our models, make adjustments to those, use any ideas or plans you may already have, and if you’re really flexible, Joe can work with you on designing s one of a kind custom model of your dreams.  We want you to be 100% happy. If it is physically possible for us to do, we will do it!

What do I plug my Tennessee Tiny Home in to for power and water?
All you need is an electrical outlet, and a water hose.

Do you offer “off-grid” features?
Yes. We offer 2 different sized roof-mounted, solar systems, as well as water catchment systems.

What if I don’t want to climb a ladder to the loft to sleep?
No problem. We can build stairs up to the loft. We also offer sleeping areas downstairs like, futon/couches with storage, Murphy beds and bunk beds.

Do you deliver? How much do you charge?
No, we do not, but we do have a recommended delivery company. One hour setup is included. Their prices are as follows:
12ft or smaller – $2.50/mile
16-18ft – $3.00/mile
20ft and larger – $3.50/mile

Do you finance?
At this time we do not offer any form of financing.

Can I insure my Tennessee Tiny Home?
Yes, and we highly suggest it! Travel trailer policies are best.

How do I purchase a Tennessee Tiny Home from you?
We accept 3 payments throughout the process of your purchase. We require a 25% of your total price as a non-refundable deposit to hold your spot in line. The deposit in non-refundable because we go ahead and purchase materials for your specific build. Second payment of 50% of your total price is due before the build starts. Final payment of the remaining 25% of your total price is due when the build is complete. Your Tennessee Tiny Home must be paid in full prior to pick up or delivery.
